“The initiative was created to reward the most innovative and creative projects and help them in their maturation phase so they can reach the market with new strength,” points out Luis Figueiredo, president of Cenit. “The textile and manufacturing industry must use its know-how and experience to support high potential projects designed by creative young people, and help them taking shape and achieving success,” he adds.
The young entrepreneur intends to analyse the potential injuries resulting from movements performed in the practice of e-sports and produce high specialised equipment for this growing market segment. “This award will work as a needed boost to start this project and will operate as a great business card to promote and sell my idea to new investors, such as streaming platforms, professional e-sports teams or individual players,” Pedro Cardona explains.

To close the meeting, Hermano Rodrigues opened the door to other opportunities, presenting the conditions of SIGMA Team Consulting for the support of entrepreneurship projects. A project by MODAPORTUGAL promoted by Cenit — Portuguese Centre of Intelligence for the Textile Industry, Futures ModaPortugal was created to identify innovative ideas and submit them to a business acceleration process, transforming them into competitive companies within the fashion industry. ♦
