J. Gomes, Lda. is a textile spinning company established in 1976, located in the Covilhã Industrial Park. From the very beginning, it has built its foundation on the reuse of raw materials. With the growing social concern for the environment, these principles have become increasingly embedded in the identity and philosophy of J. Gomes, Lda. In addition to its spinning services, J. Gomes, Lda. has developed an in-house waste collection service that gathers various types of textile industry waste (from garment manufacturers, wool producers, among others). This has become a source of materials that allows for the production of a wide variety of 100% recycled yarns in different types and compositions. The main goal of J. Gomes, Lda. is to continue promoting recycling, combining it with innovation while adhering to all established standards and regulations. Due to our environmental concern, we have decided to implement a zero-waste environmental policy and a social responsibility policy.
